Planning veneers, crowns or implants in Istanbul from the UK? This guide shows our published prices in pounds, how many days and visits each treatment needs, what to send before you book a flight, and how aftercare works once you are home.

Quick Answer for UK Patients

At IST Smile Experts in Istanbul, E-Max veneers start from about £205 per tooth, zirconium crowns from about £185, composite bonding from about £160 and standard implants from about £475 per implant. Prices are charged in euros, so pound figures move with the exchange rate. Direct flights from major UK airports take around four hours. Veneers and crowns usually need one stay of 5 to 7 days, while implants and All-on-4 or All-on-6 need two visits several months apart. Every plan is confirmed only after a clinical examination and imaging.

Pound figures are approximate conversions of our euro prices and change with the exchange rate. Your written quote lists every item, the material brand and what is and is not included. Hotel and VIP transfers are included in selected veneer and crown packages; implant and All-on-X prices are treatment fees, with travel offered as a separate package.

How This Compares With Dental Care in the UK

NHS dentistry in England is charged in three bands. From 1 April 2026 the charges are £27.90 for Band 1, £76.60 for Band 2 and £332.10 for Band 3, which covers clinically necessary treatment such as crowns, dentures and bridges. Purely cosmetic treatment, such as veneers for a brighter smile, is generally not available on the NHS, and implants are only offered on the NHS in limited clinical situations.

That is why most UK patients who contact us are comparing Istanbul with a private UK quote, not with the NHS. The fair way to compare is line by line: the same number of teeth, the same material brand, the same warranty and the same number of reviews or adjustments. If a UK clinic has already examined you, send us that treatment plan and we will show you how our plan differs.

Travel From the UK: Flights, Days and Visits

What to Send Before You Book a Flight

  • A recent panoramic X-ray or CBCT scan, if you have one from a UK dentist
  • Any existing UK treatment plan or quote you want compared

Insurance, Aftercare and Follow-Up in the UK

Insurance

A GHIC does not cover treatment in Turkey. Arrange travel insurance before you fly and check whether it covers elective dental treatment and any complications.

Records you take home

You leave with your treatment summary, X-rays and the material and implant details in English, so a UK dentist can review your work.

Local follow-up

Keep your regular UK check-ups and hygiene visits. Implant and full-arch patients follow the maintenance steps in their written warranty terms.

Warranty

Lifetime implant warranty on fixtures and a 10-year written warranty on E-Max and zirconia restorations, under the written terms and check-up requirements.

The British Dental Association advises UK patients to understand the risks of treatment abroad and to plan aftercare before travelling. We agree: choose a clinic that gives you named materials, a written plan, realistic timelines and records your UK dentist can use.

Dental Treatment in Turkey From the UK: Common Questions

How much cheaper is dental treatment in Turkey than in the UK?

It depends on the treatment and on the UK quote you are comparing. Our published prices start from about £205 per E-Max veneer and £475 per standard implant. The only reliable comparison is a line-by-line one with the same materials, number of teeth and warranty.

How long do I need to stay in Istanbul?

Composite bonding takes 2 to 3 days, veneers and crowns usually 5 to 7 days. Implants and All-on-4 or All-on-6 need two visits, typically 3 to 6 months apart.

Can I get NHS treatment for veneers instead?

Veneers for cosmetic reasons are generally not provided on the NHS. NHS Band 3, £332.10 from April 2026, covers clinically necessary treatment such as crowns, dentures and bridges.

Who looks after my teeth when I am back in the UK?

Your regular UK dentist continues your routine care using the records we provide. If an issue relates to our work, contact us first so we can review it under your written warranty terms.

Do you show prices in pounds?

Prices are charged in euros. We show approximate pound equivalents so you can plan, and your written quote confirms the final amount.
